Oliver: Updated – Adopted!
Sweet Oliver has found a forever home! Thanks to everyone involved in making this happen
Oliver (Ollie) was adopted from JAC as a puppy. He is a Corgi mix (along with some mystery breeds!)
For close to 10 years he lived happily with a loving owner. Unfortunately his owner developed an illness that made him unable to care for him, so little Ollie was brought to his vet to be euthanized. Fortunately our volunteers learned of this, rescued him and brought him to a foster home where he has already made friends with the resident dog. But sadly, Ollie is now without a permanent home for the first time in his life.
He is waggy tailed, healthy, mellow, and housebroken.
Oliver is the ultimate companion dog. He follows his person from room to room, often laying down beside him (or her) with adoring eyes. His great capacity to love and connect can also lead him to become protective or territorial with others at times, although this behavior can be easily managed with the right owner.
This little guy is so well rounded, enjoying both quiet times at home or hikes in the woods. So wherever the day takes you, take Ollie with you … he is just happy to be at your side.
He is up to date on all his shots. A pre-adoption form is required prior to adoption. Either fill it out online or print and mail to:
