Lucky has been with us for quite some time, but his happiness and optimism have not waned.

Personality
Lucky was abandoned at the shelter just after it was opened, and he's been with us ever since, patiently waiting for his Happy Ending. His family left us a note saying that Lucky was their beloved family pet and a wonderful dog, but because they were moving, they couldn't take him with them.

Although Lucky is an adult dog, inside he's still an exuberant puppy, always playful and always happy. Lucky's favorite things to do are running, playing with his leash, and playing in the grass.

Other Adults, Children, and Dogs
Lucky enjoys the company of all adults. He's submissive with other dogs, even though they may find his large size and playfulness problematic. We would not want him placed in a home with small children.

Training
Lucky responds to the Sit command and has learned not to jump up. He has worked with an obedience trainer and responded well to training, but he would benefit from some more training.
