Nancy J. Schetelick of Union, N.J., a Prudential retiree, received a Prudential CARE'S Volunteer Grants Award for the amount of $250, benefitting the Jersey Animal Coalition. Schetelick donated 615 hours in 2007 serving as the dog walking coordinator for the organization. She demonstrated proper handling of the animals to other volunteers and assisted in training, grooming and transporting the dogs to veterinarian appointmemts. The Jersey Animal Coalition supports a no-kill animal shelter for dogs and cats.
